This paper presents comparison analysis of P/PI/PD/PID controller with fuzzy logic controller (FLC) for solar water pumping system (SWPS). The conventional P/PI/PD/PID and FLC controller are compared in terms of rise and settling time, over and under shoot, error of steady-state and system stability at various motor speed and load torque. rise and settling time results shows that the FLC based system is better than conventional controller. Results also shows that the FLC based system is more stable and efficient. MATLAB/Simulink software is used for system simulation.
