This paper presents an analysis of electromagnetic interference generated by an integrated switching DC-DC power converter and its impact on a Bluetooth Low Energy transceiver integrated into the same microcontroller. The goal is to acquire a good understanding of the phenomena involved in order to limit the negative effects of the non-linear DC-DC power converter. The method uses EMI and system-level measurements, transistor-level circuit simulation, and high-level system modelling.
