The remote control and monitoring of a tunable optical correlator based on nonlinear wave-mixing is demonstrated. The correlator is remotely controlled via the bidirectional transmission of multiple waves over an optical link. The effects of the temperature-drift and link backscattering are mitigated at the transmitter.
