In this paper, an Arduino based medical assistant robot is proposed which monitors primary health conditions (temperature, pulse rate) of the patients and connects health experts remotely via app-based IP camera. The design and development of a medical assistant robot for the disabled patients and those in need are the main idea of this project. In hospitals and health centers, the main goal of such a robot is to minimize human involvement while maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and help critical patients during emergency situations such as quarantines for infectious disease like Covid 19. This proposed design has extra features such as medication reminder system, an automatic hand sanitizer, and a patient monitoring system powered by the IoT (body temperature, pulse rate). The architecture of this project is based on many electrical components like micro-controller, LCD display, infrared sensor, pulse sensor, motor driver, IP camera, water pump etc. This device is powered by 12V battery which senses temperature, calculates heartbeat, and pulses by using a BPM sensor. The main objective of this work is to increase safety for the doctors as well as patients to reduce the spread of infection by using remote communication via IP camera during quarantine time.
