From 2020 the whole world begins to suffer from the Covid-19 pandemic, one of the most devastating diseases in human history. While news about China and Covid-19 abounds in the media, recent studies reveal that the image of China in the media of Western countries deteriorates during the pandemic. Similarly, the curiosity arises about how the media in Latin America, especially in Argentina, portray China. The general objective of this study is to analyse Argentine media coverage, both conventional and digital, about China and Covid-19. Using the content analysis of the news published in Clarín and Infobae, it is intended to outline the panorama of the image of China in the two Argentine media and find out the selection of frames of each media.
