Situation chain is an important support for the reconstruction of large unit teaching content of physical education and health curriculum,which can effectively solve the problems of low-level repetition of teaching content,weak consistency of context creation and insufficient ductility in physical education teaching practice in primary and secondary schools.The large unit teaching of physical education and health curriculum based on situation chain attaches importance to the course pattern of chain integration,relies on the progressive situation to effective learning and practice of specialized sports skills,and plans the learning path of large unit teaching of physical education and health curriculum through the situation chain to connect the course elements such as objectives,tasks and content Situational cognition theory,contextual learning theory and learning progression theory provide theoretical foundation and practical framework for in-depth understanding of situational chain.Combined with the basic elements of the three theories,this study discusses the construction process of large unit teaching of physical education curriculum based on situational chain,focuses on the integrity of core quality,through the theme case of large unit teaching of Level 2"improvement of basketball protection and ball control ability",extracts key concepts from"accurate analysis of learning situation,establishment of learning objectives of large units","extraction of key concepts,planning of learning paths of large units","tandem of advanced elements,reconstruction of learning content of large units",and"evaluation of students'learning performance based on real situations",so as to present a complete situation chain study.
