Traditional spindle-type core drilling machines are widely used in the field of geological core drilling in China.Although this type of drilling machine has obvious market advantages,but it also has some disadvantages such as short feeding stroke,frequent operation of rod reversal and low work efficiency.In order to improve the work efficiency of geological core drilling machines,the authors have developed a XY-6DH long-stroke core drilling machine with a guide tower on the basis of several common long-stroke feed structures.This machine can provide a new solution for the long-stroke spindle core drilling machines and theoretically improve the work efficiency of geological core drilling machines.
