Under the background of massive computing resources in power grid, smart grid has become the direction and trend of power industry development. In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of smart grid, the monitoring of the grid load should be strengthened and a reasonable solution should be arranged in time when the grid load exceeded the standard. So early warning system of power network overloading under serverless architecture was proposed. The main advantages of the combination of smart grid and serverless architecture were analyzed in detail, and the technical feasibility and economic feasibility of the early warning system for grid overload under the serverless mode were analyzed by examples.
