A high-efficiency (4 × 10−5 at A = 0.4) high-resolution (150 keV) polarimeter used in conjunction with an Enge split-pole spectrograph is described. This device permits for the first time polarization transfer studies in inelastic scattering. Spectra are shown for 11 B ( p , p ′) 11 B (2.14 MeV ) at E p = 31 MeV .
