The purpose of the research is the quantitative analysis of the Brazilian web media, print, radio and television, made by techniques of webcrawling, which in sum represent 1315 media entities. The methodology, webometrics own, already applied in other studies (GRAELLS, E. and Baeza Yates, R., 2007), allows to know the degree of development of the site, the level of interconnection, its macrostructure, formats, extensions , domains, linked pages, document number, size, and useful resources for later use and reuse. The article proposes a second phase of the study that are conducted qualitative research on information production and thematic classification, based on the resources compiled in this first approximation.
