A facile approach to fabricate sulfur-doped bimetallic NiFe(CN)5NO nanoparticles was adopted; they displayed superior catalytic activity towards the OER with an overpotential of 274 mV at 10 mA cm−2 and maintained good stability over 1000 cycles.
