A traveling wave tube vacuum electronic (VE) amplifier operating above 300 GHz has being developed. This VE amplifier is based on a folded waveguide slow-wave circuit, together with a periodic permanent magnet system. The amplifier achieved 19.6 dB of gain, and 134mW of maximum output power.
