Histones contain a large amount of positively charged amino acid residues what distinguishes them from the other proteins. The behavior of histones at the charged surfaces was studied using constant current chronopotentiometric stripping (CPS) analysis and impedance Cd – t curves. Core histones and their complex structure, an octamer, can be discriminated by CPS analysis.
