The aim of this article is, through a careful analysis of intrinsic and extrinsic elements of each of the three manuscripts from the 17th century that are preserved of Hado y divisa de Leonido y de Marfisa from Calderón (9373 and 6743 BNE and 8314 Arsenal Library Paris) and a comparison of its variants, demonstrate: the interdependence between the ms 9373 of the BNE and 8314 (both contain bief pieces and the Descripción from Fernández de León) as ms. 8314 is a copy of ms. 9373; the Parisian manuscript is the one that copied José Guerra to send to the imperial court; that both were written at the time of release, therefore, probably both derive from the copy that Peñarroja made of calderonian draft; that the ms 16743, however, is called copy of the as known pseudo Matos Fragoso and has many variations compared to the other two.
