The present project investigates the permanent education initiatives of health professionals in the care for people with obesity, understanding that it is a topic of great worldwide relevance and that it can act both in the microsocial field, individualizing the care approach, as well as in the macrosocial, reflecting in the decrease of the propagation of the obesity phenomenon. In this sense, its main objective is to map and summarize all the evidence found in this area, in national and international literature, contributing to re / designing public policies, programs and actions in the field of permanent health education focused on obesity. The following research questions were designed to explore the evidence produced in the literature on continuing education for health professionals in the care of people with obesity : 1. What has been produced in the literature on health professionals' continuing education in care for people with obesity? 2. What are the themes and methodologies used in health professionals' permanent education initiatives in people's care with obesity? 3. How is obesity conceptualized in health professionals' continuing education initiatives in the care of people with obesity? 4. What are the results of permanent education initiatives by health professionals in caring for people with obesity?
