YÖK Tez No: 643464 Bu çalışmada, bazı Uçucu Organik Bileşen (UOB) türlerinin oluşturduğu emisyon konsantrasyonlarının ozon ile oksidasyon yöntemiyle giderim verimleri deneysel çalışmalarla araştırılmıştır. In this study, the emission concentrations of some volatie organic compunds (VOC) types generated by ozone oxidation method were investigated by experimental studies. Ozone has been supplied to the UOB, which is formed by the raw material purchased from a button production facility, for 1 min and 30 sec at air flow rates of 1 l / min, 3 l / min and 6 l / min. VOC measurements were monitored with the PID sensor. Accordingly, the highest removal efficiencies were realized at values where ozone was given for 1 minute and concentrations were 40 ppm and below. Under the same conditions, removal efficiency decreased with the increase of inlet concentrations. However, with the increase of the air flow rate, the removal efficiency has increased. Ozone delivery time did not make a significant difference on removal efficiencies. In the removal experiments with toluene and styrene fluids, where 6 seconds, 20 seconds and 30 seconds ozone contact times are applied, GC-FID analysis and simultaneous measurement with sensor. Styrene removal efficiencies are 89% in sensor measurement and 98% in GC-FID analysis. On average, toluene removal efficiencies are 40% in sensor measurements and 61% in GC-FID analysis. There was no significant difference in removal efficiencies according to the ozone-VOC contact time.
