The article discusses a study which compared the morphology of the male chelicerae of the solifuge species Biton zeberbaueri and Gluviopsilla discolor in Turkey. Stereo microscope and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used in the comparative study. The description and illustrations of each species are provided particularly the morphological structure of their cheliceral teeth, flagella and stridulatory organs. The use of stridulatory setae in Galeodids as a defensive organ is tackled.
