The article presents a case study which investigates the impact of the parasite known as the giant liver fluke (Fascioloides magna) among the deer population in Canada. Topics discussed include the surgical method used by researchers to determine the presence of the parasite among the collected deer livers, the use of the SYSTAT statistical package to analysis the collected data, and a detailed analysis of the results.
