•The results are obtained by Ms-DTM without perturbation (Like in HPM solutions), linearization, or any assumptions.•Accuracy of results by Ms-DTM is assured/verified with a comparison between the nearest results by Hayat et al. [5] and prior results.•Wall shear stress distribution increasing at high values of Darcy parameter at the core part of the channel.•Helmholtz-Smoluchowski velocity and Darcy parameter have two opposite behavior on skin friction.•Electro-osmotic and local thermal Grashof parameters have the same behavior on the axial velocity.•Sherwood number have a like behavior with high values of Helmholtz-Smoluchowski velocity and Darcy parameter.
