The article presents a comparative study of two box-beam bridges in their cracked and uncracked stages. It mentions that one bridge was reinforced with prestressed carbon-fiber-composite cable [CFCC] and the other one with conventional prestressed steel strands. It concludes that both bridge models exhibited acceptable ductility. Load-distribution and strain distribution tests were conducted on two box-beam bridge models.
