The article discusses a research on the effectiveness of the Iberian lynx reintroduction programme in Spain. Considered as an endangered specie, it is noted that Iberian lynx populations continue to decline in the country. Aside from reversing the said decline, the programme aims to establish a sustainable captive population for future reintroduction projects. It outlines the wild adaptation training provided to three cubs born at the La Olivilla breeding centre which include stimulation of their natural behaviors like predation and socialization. Although the training provided is deemed adequate, further improvements in training facilities are suggested.
