The article presents a case study of a three-month-old boy who was hospitalized due to respiratory distress syndrome and prematurity. He was diagnosed with Candida albicans cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) shunt infection and experienced resistance with amphotericin B treatment due to increased minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) during the therapy period. He was successfully treated using voriconozole and flucytosine.
