It is stated that a user of 700VA Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) from Powerware Corp. complained of software problems and contacted Powerware support via email. After an unsuitable response the journal "APC" was requested to approach the company for response on the matter. Details related to the same are presented. Simmilarly another user faced problems with Ebay Inc.'s ProLiant ML150 Tower Server but didn't get a favorable response. Detail related to the journal's effort to contact the company is also mentioned.
