The article reports on the behavior of citrus peelminer Marmara gulosa Guillen and Davis to different pesticides. Egg and larvae of the citrus peelminer in zucchini squash were treated with several insecticides including carbamate, pyrethroid, organophospate, and sulfur among others. The study found that the pesticides except sulfur inhibited insect growth. Buprofezin was found to be ineffective in reducing growth while cyfluthrin and spinosad with oil and abamectin were effective treatments. An overview of the study is provided.
