The article comments on titles of the medical professionals in Great Britain. The original Latin terminology for the word 'doctor' means teacher. It is used as a courtesy title for the members of medical profession. However, surgeons preferred to be called as mister. Confusions regarding whether dentists should be titled dental surgeons or dental physicians remains for the law to decide. For common men, a doctor is one who provides medical care.
