The article offers suggestions for identifying genetically modified (GM) ingredients in foods. Topics include manufacturing of GM foods from genetically modified organism (GMO), such as GM soy beans or GM yeast; production of commercial grade GM cotton and GM canola in Australia; and health concerns associated with GM foods like allergic reaction caused by the foods, and possible gene transfer of antibiotic resistance.
