The article reports on results of a study which compares the function of DnaK chaperone systems from halophilic lactic acid bacterium Tetragenococcus halophilus and Escherichia coli. A description of the study design and method is presented. The study concluded that Escherichia coli DnaK cross-reacted with those from both bacteria.
