In article number 1802438, Freddy Kleitz, Claudio Gerbaldi and co‐workers report a new anode material for high‐performing and long‐lasting Li‐ion batteries, which is built from an innovative 2D/3D nanostructure design. The active material consists of exfoliated graphene‐wrapped mesoporous mixed metal oxide microspheres, obtained through a simple spray‐drying procedure. Such electrode material provides significantly improved specific capacity with unprecedented reversible cycling stability over 3000 charge/discharge cycles. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
