The article informs about a rare case of a 74-year-old female with a renal mass diagnosed as a metastasis of the follicular variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma (FV‑PTC) using renal fine-needle aspiration (FNA). Topic include the cytological evaluation revealed small- to medium-sized tumor cells with a follicular architecture and slightly monomorphic atypia, highlighting the challenges in diagnosing metastatic tumors in the kidney.
