The paper presents modelling of acoustic cavitation inception. The model is based on the structural-temporal approach, which has shown a predictive effectiveness in considering various transient processes. The presented calculations were performed for four different liquids at a high-frequency vibration and across a wide temperature range. The predictions of the presented theoretical model were validated by comparison with the experimental data, and good agreement was demonstrated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
