The article focuses on the expression of chaperone-synuclein fusion proteins and their effects in the regulation of amyloid fibril formation. Topics discussed include the aggregation-prone proteins which drawn attention in neurodegenerative diseases (NDD), pathological amyloid aggregates found in the patients with Parkinson's disease (PD), and study on Thioflavin T(ThT) fluorescence which showed that accelerated amyloid formation is facilitated by FKBP12 binding ligand.
