This study deals with numerical simulation of electromagnetic refining using a conduction method of in-melt current excitation. The ANSYS and FLUENT software packages were applied to numerically compute trajectories and distribution of non-conducting particles. The distribution of in-melt electromagnetic forces, hydrodynamic flows and non-conducting particles cloud has been analyzed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
