The patient performed a 30-2 glaucoma tendency-oriented perimetry visual field and optic nerve head imaging with optical coherence tomography. Glaucoma treatment in patients diagnosed with sleep apnoea has been thoroughly studied. The hazard ratio of developing glaucoma in those patients left untreated was 2:15;[10] patients undergoing a combination of treatments - either nasal or pharyngeal surgery with continuous positive airway pressure - significantly reduced the hazard ratio to levels not statistically different from controls.
