The article presents a study on the pathogenic changes in choosing low aggressive isolates of Verticillium dahliae after series of transitions in potato and sunflower plants. It states the determination of contaminant levels in Verticillium species prior to inoculation, and the selection of V. dahliae based on its weak aggression on both plants. Results of the study reveal an infection growth in potato cultivar while pathogenic variations were not observed in initial isolation after inoculation.
