The article presents insights of several medical device manufacturer executives on how they influence implantable medical devices (IMDs). An executive from Cactus Semiconductor Inc. states that their company enables the miniaturization of IMDs by designing customized integrated circuits. Also, Uson suggests to any developer to make an implantable device that is short and to the point. It recommends that implantable components must design to repair native tissue with absorbable polymers.
