We use collinear multidimensional coherent spectroscopy to measure van der Waals structures with a nearly diffraction-limited spot size. Encapsulation by boron nitride narrows the homogeneous and inhomogeneous linewidths of excitonic resonances in MoSe2. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
