The article presents a case study of a 43-year-old man with vertigo. Topics discussed include deflection of the eyes to the right side during upward saccades, witnessing of nystagmus based on spontaneous rotation of eyes to the left side and lateral medullary infarction leading to horizontal gaze deviation and ocular lateropulsion.
