The article presents a case study of a 39-year-old woman with a 1-month history of left wrist pain and states that radiographs of the patient showed a cystic area of low density with sclerotic margins in the left scaphoid bone for which surgery under brachial plexus anesthesia was planned. It is noted that postoperative pathological examination revealed that the capsule wall consisted of fibrous connective tissue, and further radiography showed resolution of the intraosseous ganglion lesion.
