A quantitative determination method for Al3+ in immunobiological drugs using atomic absorption spectroscopy with electrothermal atomization was developed. Conditions for the preparation of aluminum hydroxide gel were selected [NaOH (5 M), heating in a boiling-water bath for 5 min followed by neutralization with conc. HNO3]. The method was validated. The analytical range of Al3+ was established in the interval 10 – 50 ig/L. The accuracy and in-laboratory precision were confirmed. The results allowed the proposed method to be considered an alternative for quantitative determination of Al3+ in immunobiological drugs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
