To simultaneously determine naproxen and esomeprazole as a bulk drug and laboratory combination, a simple, delicate, accurate and high performance thin-layer (HPTLC) method was developed and validated. Separation was carried out as a stationary process on aluminium-backed silica gel 60F254 HPTLC. The solvent system was formed by mobile phase ethyl-acetate - methanol - ammonia (8.0: 1.26: 0.54 v/v). Camag TLC scanner 3 was used in the absorbance mode at 272 nm to conduct the densitometric scanning. The method mentioned has the benefit that it is fast and clear. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
