Academia and consulting companies are currently fostering this approach by "sharing" and offering part-time employees training and supervising opportunities. Furthermore, financial and mentoring support also of the pharmaceutical industry of pharmacometricians-in-training in the form of scholarships, academic-industry exchanges and sponsored conference attendance could, especially in LMIC, increase the retention of these young talents locally.
