A case study of 68-year-old woman is presented who was referred to the primary care pharmacist by her physician in spring of 2021 for the management of uncontrolled type 1 diabetes. Topics include examines she was first diagnosed in 2009 and had since been managed by an endocrinologist with a multiple daily injection (MDI) insulin regimen.
