Presents the results of studying cobalt-substituted monomeric hemoglobins via resonance Raman spectroscopy. Content of the same protoheme-IX as prosthetic groups; Effects on the exogenous ligand of hemoglobins, especially due to the fact that in hemoglobins with distal histidine the iron-oxygen stretching vibration is similar to the cobalt-nitric oxide stretching vibration.
