The article presents a study which aims to assess the equivalence and reliability of the Symbol Digit Modalities Test (SDMT) alternate forms in multiple sclerosis clinical trials. It says that 25 healthy participants had completed alternate versions of the SDMT and the effects were controlled using a Latin-square research design. Results showed that five versions of the SDMT recorded mean values within three raw score points and the SDMT test reliability was good to highest quality.
