Watermarking is a technique for verifying and securing digital imaging data. Watermarking of a colour image is a time-consuming and complicated process. A range of transformation-based approaches are used to improve watermark robustness and invisibility. Hence, this paper utilizes the DWT-SVD strategy to introduce a preferable hybrid transformation technique. For upgrading the robustness, paper proposed a hybrid DWT-SVD based transform domain rule including the extra digital signature security. For color reproduction the YCbCr color space model is used at the pre-processing level. Qualitative performance of suggested algorithm is compared with the existing results for validation of work. The quantitative performance is evaluated under the presence of various attacks. Qualitative analysis is based on structural similarity (SSIM), NC, MSE and PSNR justifying efficiency of proposed algorithm. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
