The article reveals that it is possible to experience the joy of stargazing in spite of light pollution through the use of binoculars. It explains that stars, double stars and bright star clusters, or even some nebulae and galaxies, are objects that can be seen best in light pollution in the U.S. A series of showpieces which observers with ordinary binoculars can observe from anywhere is presented including the Perseus Double Cluster, the star pair 56 Andomedae and the Andromeda Galaxy.
