Several international and national consensus guidelines from professional bodies and expert panels are available for the management of breast cancers. The widely used international guidelines are from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), St. Gallen International Expert Consensus, and the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) of the UK. This article is an update from the Association of Breast Surgeons of India (ABSI) regarding the guidelines to manage breast cancer in India. The earlier version of the same was published in 2016. This article has been updated with the latest research work in the management of breast cancer to date and necessary changes made to the earlier version. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
