The wood of teak is much used as building materials in Benin. The quest of comfort conditions in housing needs a better knowledge of thermal performance of the materials forming the walls of building structures. The goal of this study is to estimate the thermal diffusivity of teak as a function of water content using the regular statemethod. The analysis of the results shows that teak can be used as a good thermal insulating material which allows realizing thermal comfortable apartments in fair conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
