520 b영문초록 : This study has been carried out to clarify specific cutting force, chip shape and surface roughness. They were varied by cutting speed, feed and tool rake angle in the turning cutting experiment of 1050 Aluminium material with using tungsten carbide tools (G_(2)). The results obtained in this study are as follows; 1. Specific cutting fore decreases with the increase of cutting speed and feed. 2. Discontinuity of specific cutting force exists, and ocurrs at the low speed region as back rake angle is small. The range of discontinuity is being short with the increase of back rake angle. 3. According to the increase of cutting speed and feed, the shape of chip is changed into shear type, tear type, tear plus flow type, flow type in turn. 4. Surface roughness is good at the cutting speed, 500m/min and is nearly independent of the back rake angle.
