This study was to investigate the relationship of Basic Needs, Motivation and Physical Education Class Satisfaction of Middle School Students between Korea and China, so as to provide a reference for educators in the two countries to timely grasp the psychological dynamics of PE class of middle school students and formulate reasonable teaching plans. 494 students of grade 1 to 3 in a middle school in Jeon Ju city, South Korea, 304 boys (61.5%) and 190 girls (38.5%) were aged between 14 and 16 (M=15.05, SD=0.86). A middle school in Jilin city, China, has 447 students in grades 1 to 3, 207 boys (46.3%) and 240 girls (53.5%), with the ages ranging from 12 to 17 years old (M=14.46, SD=1.04). Descriptive statistical analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and reliability analysis were performed on the data by SPSS23.0.Validation factor analysis and structural equation model analysis were carried out by using AMOS21.0. The results showed that in Korean middle school students, male students were significantly different from female students on basic needs score, motivation score, and satisfaction score. Inspections of two group means indicate that average three variables score of male students is significantly higher than the score of female students. There was not a significant difference in basic needs score, motivation score and satisfaction score among grade 1 students, grade 2 students and grade 3 students. In Chinese middle school students, male students were significantly different from female students on basic needs score, motivation score, and satisfaction score. Inspections of two group means indicate that average three variables score of male students is significantly higher than the score of female students. Three variables score were significantly varied by grades, grade 1 students and grade 2 students significantly higher three variables score than grade 3 students, there is no a significant difference in three variables score between grade 1 students and grade 2 students. By exploring the mediating effects of motivation, Korean and Chinese middle school students’ models are partial mediation models. The research shows that in the physical education class of middle school students, motivation is an important factor affecting the satisfaction of students' physical education. In the process of teaching, teachers should focus on improving the motivation of students' participation in physical education. Due to the differences in educational policies, two models have differences. In the Korean model, basic needs have an impact on satisfaction through motivation, and motivation plays a major intermediary role. In the Chinese model, basic needs play a major role in satisfaction, and motivation plays a secondary role. In the process of teaching, teachers should focus on improving the motivation of students' participation in physical education. Due to the differences in educational policies, two models have differences.
